Gavin Partington
Gavin is a former broadcast journalist who specialises in helping senior management communicate with the media.
As a consultant, both freelance and with Brunswick, he has advised a broad range of clients, often in circumstances where they faced intense media scrutiny. They include Airtours, Railtrack, Camelot, the Lawn Tennis Association and mobile operator 3. Gavin works with clients to develop their story and help them deliver it effectively to print and broadcast media.
As Director of Corporate Communications at the telecoms company Energis, Gavin managed internal and external communications through a period of financial restructuring. He was subsequently Director of Communications at the Lawn Tennis Association.
Gavin trained in newspapers prior to a career in television at Westminster, working for Tyne Tees TV, Anglia TV and ultimately GMTV, where he was political editor. He has extensive experience of live broadcasting.
Anthony D’Alton
Anthony trained in newspapers before joining a newsagency covering breaking news for a range of national newspapers – including the Sun, The News Of The World and the Sunday Times. He has covered high-profile general news stories and business and political news. This on-the-ground experience makes him ideal for putting potential media spokespeople through their paces, as well as helping them formulate a messaging framework to be used as a basis for all types of press contact.
